Bike trip points of interest – The Panty Bar – Paternoster
Situated in Paternoster at the Paternoster Hotel.
This famous pub strangely enough used to be a jail. The collection of “panties” apparently started as early as 1973. Though we doubt that any of them still remain, their entire ceiling is lined with these women undergarments.
The bar itself is very small and cozy and you are bound to hear some stories from the local barman.
Definitely worth a visit when in the area.
