Bike trip points of interest – Karoo Saloon – Route 62
Situated on the Route 62 en-route to Barrydale.
This roadside stop offers ensuite accommodation as well as a campsite. The main reason for our visit however was their bar.
The Saloon bar hosts regular live rock music events over most weekends.
The rustic stone themed interior and exterior fits in right with nature and you tend to want to stay longer than planned when visiting.
